MECH Orbit inside AvtoAtmosfera: three years in our own shop

There are two ways to build software for auto repair. First: gather requirements, draw mockups, sell, and then discover that a real workshop works differently. Second: own the shop yourself and build the system for yourself. We took the second path.

AvtoAtmosfera is a repair shop network in Kharkiv and Cherkasy that works every day: real bays, real mechanics, real clients with real billing disputes. This is where MECH Orbit has lived for three years, not as a demo, but as a working tool the shop can no longer operate without.

This gives one important difference from competitors: every feature has been tested with our own money. Plate recognition appeared because we got tired of creating client cards by hand. The mechanic's mobile app: because paper got lost between the bay and the front desk. Digital approval: because the dispute 'I never agreed to this' costs more than the repair itself.

When we show the system to another shop owner, we do not tell them how it should work. We open our own dashboard and show how it works right now: how many cars are in the bays, where the bottleneck is, how many labor hours were sold today.

That is why our main thesis is simple: we do not sell theory. We run this ourselves.
